Chiron Tobias Farrimond is a British composer, sound designer, and audio engineer based in England, creating music for film, media, performance, and digital platforms, alongside a body of original artist-led work.
Working across bespoke scoring, original songs, and sound design, his music blends cinematic orchestration with contemporary electronic production. At its core, his work is driven by atmosphere, texture, and emotion.
Alongside commissioned projects, Chiron develops long-form musical works released under his own name, using albums and artist projects as a space to explore sound beyond the constraints of brief-led work. The projects inform and intersect with his media composition practice, allowing ideas to move fluidly between screen, performance, and standalone releases.
He has produced music for major sync and production music catalogues, including Gothic Storm, Warner-Chappell, London Sync, Brash Tracks and Black Sheep Music, contributing compositions created specifically for film, television, advertising, and multimedia contexts.
Chiron holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in music from Bangor University, combining formal compositional training with hands-on production and engineering workflow. Whether working independently or in collaboration with directors and creatives, he approaches each project with a focus on storytelling and emotional impact.
Currently balancing original artist releases with commissioned media scores, Chiron is available for bespoke composition, sound design, and collaborative scoring work.
